The next stop is a unique little town called Lacombe.   Explore its cemeteries, ancient live oaks and pines, and admire the scenic Bayou Lacombe.  The Bayou Lacombe drawbridge was opened in 2008 and a trailhead overlooking Bayou Lacombe was opened in 2011. Here you will find the bridge tender, ranger station, water fountains and rest rooms.   Parking is available at the John Davis Park Park-n-Ride facility or the small parking area at the Trace and 12th Street location.
